1. Do not over-cleanse
Too much washing excellerates the aging process of your skin. You should therefore not cleanse your face more often than twice a day with a mild cleanser.
2. Wash your hands
Before you cleanse your face, wash your hands first. If you do not do this, bacteria are transferred from the hands to the face. Therefore, use a clean towel every day to dry your face.
3. Scrub in moderation
From scrubbing, the skin structure improves and the skin becomes more even. Because the skin recovers at night, it is best to use your scrub before bedtime. If you have an oily and firm skin, you may scrub your face twice a week, otherwise once a week is sufficient.
4. Always cleanse your skin before bedtime
Especially if you use make-up, it is important to clean your skin every night. If you do not do this, your pores will more easily be clogged and your skin can not perform optimally.
5. Cleansing wipes are not suitable for daily use
Facial tissues are like ready-made meals for the face: convenient and fast but not for every day. Use them when traveling or if you have little time, but as a standard cleansing routine you preferably use a wash gel or milk + tonic.
